Hmm. It should be smooth (on M1) unless there is a mismatch in refresh rate between the dummy and the display (should be 60Hz). What is your config? Thanks! |

Wow, that's a nice setup. :) However I have no idea why the scrolling is laggy. :( By laggy you mean choppy or is it slow to respond? Does this happen if you mirror a dummy to the internal screen as well? |

Thanks !! :D It is choppy, just looking if other things are also a little choppy and it is. Is there a refresh rate setting from the Dummy Display? Just want to make a ScreenRecord: |

Hi @Zorast - no refresh rate setting, dummy displays are 60Hz. these should match prefectly with the 32" Pro Display XDR. But: to me the scrolling in the video seems to be smooth as silk. Maybe I am not seeing what you see (for example if for some reason the display is set to 30Hz you'll see the video at 30Hz as well even though the dummy is running at 60Hz) |

I saw that you updated the screen recording to a better quality but still could not exactly see the problem on the video. Sorry about that. I'll convert this one into a discussion to see if others have a similar experience! |

I am a brand new new BetterDummy user, am experiencing the same issue with the interface being slightly laggy. It is as if the redraw can not quite keep when I scroll, or drag elements. My setup is a Mac Studio (M1 Max) driving two 32" Pro Display XDRs. I have been driving these same displays using a 2018 Mac mini (!) and two Blackmagic eGPU units, using SwitchResX to achieve 3360 x 1890 @ 60Hz (≈ 120 dpi on the XDR). |

Hi there!
I did recognize a laggy not smooth scrolling in all browsers i testet > Safari, Firefox, Chrome.
It is noticeable when u scroll slowly with a TrackPad.
Is this an issue that can be fixed?
