Hi there, this is an interesting issue. Background displays should be tied to a specific display configuration which is managed by macOS so the app has no control over what is happening. If the background display keeps reverting (even after you change it to the desired setting the second time) then either display IDs keep changing (this usually happens with DisplayLink devices) or the windowserver needs a reset. #190 I'd need to know more about the specific configuration for more. You can copy here the console logs of BetterDummy as that contains all the IDs and should show us what is happening/changing upon reconfigurations. #445 |

Hi,
I use my ultra-wide Philips monitor as a main display and the 14' macbook m1 pro as the secondary one. The problem is that every time I boot my laptop the secondary monitor lose its background. link to an explaining video attached.
