Flexible scaling does not work with DisplayLink. You can try creating a virtual screen and then stream it to the DisplayLink screen, but this is indeed not an ideal solution. You can also try mirroring (also not ideal). For virtual screen + mirroring you can also use the free version (create the proper virtual screen and enable mirroring in System Settings). I cannot reset the trial period but if you get the app and it does not work, DM me in the app's discord channel and I will arrange a special refund for you. |

Hi @waydabber , I have this exact same set up (see bottom note) and I've been looking for an answer for months about this issue... Two monitors connected to a M1 via Display link (one is ultrawide 3440x1440). Image is clear but everything is very small. I am hesitating to buy Better Display Pro version as it's 32$ CAD and I saw you say it's not an ideal solution. I would like to test it before... but I never figured how to make it work in the 7 days trial. Now I can't test what you just suggested here. Im blocked, and I'm looking to confirm BetterDisplay could be a solution for me and the closest answer I found is here... Can you help in any ways? Reseting the free trial period?
