Feature: Software Volume Adjustment

Right now I can only adjust volume via DDC, but even the lowest setting is too loud. Is there a way to control volume via software so it acts as a scale factor, so I can bring the volume down even more?

Hi there - I am afraid BetterDisplay is focused only on hardware control in this regard. Maybe in the future I'll venture into software volume control but not anytime soon. You might want to explore apps like eqMac or Boom2 for software volume control.
