DDC control for MacBook Air HDMI?

Hi, is there a chance we'll have a DDC control over m1 MacBook Air HDMI?

Hi there - the M1 Air should not have a built-in HDMI port. Third party HDMI dongles are generally supported but not all such dongles can relay DDC data to the display (it depends on the chipset found in the dongle/cable). If it does not work then it's a hardware or display issue I am afraid, nothing can be done at the app side.

No, it seems like this dongle usb-c won't be able to connect to a DisplayPort monitor.

What if my current dongle hdmi port is fine and the cable can't do DDC?

I don't think the cable is wrong, HDMI has dedicated wires for I2C communication.
