Is this something that happens often or only a rare occurence? There might be a negotiation problem or the display might be slow to wake up - sometimes things just happen with complex hardware/software. If this is something that happens frequently, then we could try figuring out what's going wrong. Whenever you have the display in this state, please go to app Settings/Displays and make some screenshots with all Thank you! |

It happened only once in 2 weeks so far. Is there any command I should be running? (Ideally the best would be some "generate logs" button in the UI, which I can just copy-paste here). |

No command/log generator as of now, just the screenshots. Sorry. :) You could turn on the console logging and export the detection logs but since the issue is not reproducible in a reliable way and console logging cannot be turned on retroactively, this approach is not viable. |

On my screen, an Asus PA279CV everything works perfectly most of the time, but right now, I've just connected the display and the DDC controls are not available. The brightness keys don't do anything and the brightness slider is not visible.
Restarting the app fixes it.
