Chrome extension misfiring

This is a general bug report from me as a regular user in Chrome version 72.0.3626.121. This morning I found that TMN was not merely sending dummy search requests quietly in the background but was actively opening tabs in the browser and running them there. I made no changes to the extension or its config in any of the time I've used it.

I assume this is a regression and was not the intended behaviour.

Sorry for this behavior, we've temporarily published an update that changed the default behavior of TMN for a few users, but this has been cancelled with a new update. Disabling "Tab mode" or reinstalling TMN should solve the problem.
