I converted "gbt-10.spc" from "Gokinjo Boukentai" into an IT file.
The IT file plays correctly, but the notes are incorrectly labeled.
For example at row 188 in the first pattern, there are these notes:
D6, F5, A#5, E5, D#5, B5...
If the notes were correct, this would be a very dissonant chord! Also, I tried to play the note C5 with different samples, and no two notes sounded the same.
After converting the SPC to a MID (with another tool), the notes on the same row were the following:
E6, G3, C6, A4, C5, E5...
A minor 7th chord.

I know this doesn't affect playback, but it makes analysis of songs very difficult.
I think the problem is that the samples are transposed on the wrong notes, which also means altering the note values of the song (for it to play correctly).

gbt-10.spc in that archive isn't there, but in snesmusic.org
I'll check that.
