UvDesk Mail Configuration Issues

Hello Team,

I recently installed UvDesk (by downloading the project) and navigating to https://project_folder/public to complete installation. It installed successfully but I am unable to get the mail configured to receive and send emails.

I followed the installation instructions closely but it didn't resolve the issue. Below are the yaml configuration files in /config/packages/:

When testing the IMAP configuration to fetch mails, I got a "Connection Refused" error (see screenshot below):

I am hoping I can find a solution to get this resolved as this issue has delayed me a lot.

As per shared your screenshot of the refresh mailbox command:

Here your mailbox command should be like this:

$ php bin/console uvdesk:refresh-mailbox your-mailbox-email-address

Ex: php bin/console uvdesk:refresh-mailbox [email protected]

Once you can check again your app password of your email because error related to your authentication error.

Also, let us know your email configuration is outlook modern auth 365 email, custom or normal outlook email.

Thank you for your response!

I edited the IMAP Host string from '{main.server.com:993/imap/ssl}INBOX' to '{main.server.com:995/POP3/SSL}INBOX' and I am able to connect to the mail server now, but I have encountered a new error.

I explored https://forums.uvdesk.com/ and I found an error similar to this new error (https://forums.uvdesk.com/topic/2184/mail-retrieval-error/17?_=1697192940218) and this user was able to solve their issue. I followed the same steps suggested but I was unable to resolve the error (see screenshot).

Do you have any suggestions to fix this?
