Sorry, just brain-dumping a bit here.

How confident are we about the coverage of malicious software (miners, really) in checksums.yml?
I assume that every time these files change (e.g. software update) we need to add a checksum?
Is it worth making this source code secret to make it harder for malicious users to create workarounds?
