• @joemfb Will developers now need to rely on both base-dev and yard?
• @Fang- Doesn't understand what having this handled in Arvo will improve about current developer experience
• @belisarius222 What about starting with a Unix-based solution (e.g. a repo with these files) instead of doing anything in Arvo at all?
  • @sigilante Something done in a similar vein to autoprop could work as well
  • @sigilante is amenable to a shorter-term solution, like one of these,

• Takeaway is to downscope UIP-0108 to something unix-based, investigate, and leave this open for the future

More meeting notes:

• UIP-0103: Persistent Nock Caching @matthew-levan will build a minimal version first, which will not persistently cache any code run with a non-null scry handler stack. @matthew-levan will also work with @frodwith to write a UIP for removing the Nock 12 opcode.
• UIP-0105: Drop Pokes to Dead Agents was approved.
• UIP-0109: Essential Desks was approved.
• UIP-0111: Desk Publisher Switcher Revision was requested. See add desk publisher switcher UIP UIPs#19 (comment).

Next meeting will need to address:

• UIP-0110: Gall Agent Backups
• UIP-0107: Auras Renovation

I encourage review of these two UIPs before the next meeting to expedite the process. Gall agent backups is a blocking issue for Native Planet, so that's especially important.
