Something broken in SCP error message #36

The scp error message on savio is missing words:

khuff@maria:~/repos/projects $ scp [email protected]:/absolute/path/to/file .
Password: <typed in my pledge password>
WARNING:  File transfer commands such as  may only be executed

?

For the record, it should say something useful like..

WARNING:  File transfer commands such as scp may only be executed on the data transfer node dtn.brc.berkeley.edu
