Swiping to open app spread stutters compared to keyboard shortcut #372

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open many apps
  2. Slowly swipe from the right edge to open the app spread

Expected Results

App spread opens smoothly

Actual Results

App spread animation stutters at some point while dragging.

Addition Information

Stutter is more apparent while the finger is on the screen. Ctrl + W to open the app spread is smooth in comparison.
