Preflight checklist

  • I have searched the issue tracker for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.
  • I have searched the features list for this feature, and I couldn't find it.
  • I have checked that I'm using the latest stable version of the app.

Problem Description

Hello, on some GPU's (Nvidia) hardware acceleration is broken on Linux. And causes the UI to feel choppy when scrolling and navigating around.

Proposed Solution

My proposed solution would be to make a toggle to disable hardware acceleration in the settings of the GUI so you don't need to use the flag every time for convenience and ease of use and give a pop-up message so the user gets notified to restart the GUI.
