Starting up and shutting down AMIGO

  • Put four fresh batteries in AMIGO. If you don't attend to start driving immediately, you might replace one battery with the power supply. Make sure this is set up at 24 V.
  • Switch on AMIGO
  • amigo-start already running
  • start dashboard always on visible workspace
  • home the all body parts
    • Note: if spindle crash: restart Both our robots have an alias to launch their basic processes, including the hardware. These are auto-started, but in case: For Amigo, run

The higher level software is depend on the situation, therefore multiple aliassen are available.

Always run the higher level software on AMIGO2. AMIGO1 is reserved for the hardware and other lower/backend software.

To keep an eye on the batteries and hardware status open a robot dashboard by

adashboard

Keep in mind that need to be connect to the roscore on the robot. The dashboard is also used to for enabling and homing of the hardware.

For starting Sergio, replace the a in the commands with a s.
