Truffle dashboard calls Metamask but Ledger is not prompted to confirm transaction.

Hello,

I've recently started using Truffle dashboard which I love as I can continue to use my Ledger to confirm transactions. I've successfully used it to deploy an upgradeable ERC20 token contract. On an unrelated project, I've just tried to deploy a simple standard ERC20 token but when I click confirm on metamask on my browser (Firefox), it never manages to communicate with my ledger and I get a repeating pop up until failure. It still works fine for the upgradeable contract project. Any ideas what could be causing it?

This eventually worked.. I just had to leave Metamask trying to connect to the Ledger for maybe 3 minutes. I have no patience!
