"Remember" tick box does not remember - always asks for email and password when app is opened!

As the title states, this function does not work.
When app is exited, i have to re-enter email and password. And for people who have huge passwords its a nuisance to retype.

It would be convenient and better if even exiting the app, that the password would be remembered and would auto-login when you click on the app.

Please make this work?

Does it work if you open web app in the mobile browser on the same phone?

No it doesnt look like it there either. I click on remember and then also firefox to remember the password. I close firefox, re-open it and then when i go to the link, I see it doesnt auto-login me in or remember me. The fields are filled in because i told firefox to remember, i have to tick the remember me box again and then click login. So its not remembering the login.

I just checked on my phone and remember user works fine on both Traccar Manager and Chrome browser.

Any progress? I am using Android 7.1 and still have this issue. It would be good if the native app were to remember password at least.

If remember functionality doesn't work, it means that cookies are disabled on your Android device.

Chromium browser (I am using Lineage OS) saves password by the usual browser dialog box whether I have ticked "Remember" or not so I am not sure what the tickbox actually does. The Android app does not remember.

You won't see login screen if login and password are saved.
