Hi. Using the script gives huge system instability since DP5. On most boots, the whole OS is unresponsive, unable to start any app, only a reboot will solve it (or not).
Something weird : on every boot, sound is not working untiI I launch the terminal, edit SystemConfiguration.plist to change the system version to 12, then wait a few second for sound to enable. I then revert to 13 once it's ok. I could not find what element does require system version 12

It is normal audio must be reinstalled after a beta update because each beta is a new install over the existing install. Your "fix" is not credible for 10.13.
Attach README/Problem Reporting files when audio is not working after a boot.
Why do you think audio has anything to do with "system stability?"

Ok I found the problem. An incompatibility between Airfoil and High Sierra. Their plugin is locked for 10.13 to prevent possible incompatibilities. When it's there but not working, the audio ports don't appear in system profiler. If I set the OS version to 12, the plugin gets fooled and initializes, the audio devices appear and everything is working nice. Ironically, it seems that their security to prevent problems, triggered the problems.
