After several tries, I found that on my older BT headset (a Jabra elite sport), using RootlessJamesDSP, I needed to press play on the device 2 times so that the player would start to play the song. Pausing works with 1 press.
But, on my new Sennheiser, IF the DSP is operating, pause works, but play doesnt at all. If, I manage to do so, I can skip track with doublepressing, and if I was quick enough, I can make it register right after the skipping a play button press. Otherwise, its not working.
If I stop the DSP (middle on/off button in app), the play/pause button works perfectly.
Another thing, Poweramp can show you the latest pressed buttons. If JamesDSP is running, it still shows up in that log that I pressed the button, but it does not start to play the music.
