If any removal votes pass, the team/committee responsible maintaining for the Code of Ethics shall immediately begin an election to replace the removed director(s), and replacements cannot be appointed by remaining Board members themselves.

If the Board uses its powers specified in the Bylaws to override a process specified in the WCA Documents, or to override an action that is specified as a right or duty of someone else in the WCA Documents (and not also explicitly specified as a right or duty of the Board in the WCA Documents), the Board must publicly disclose and explain the necessity of this action. If such a disclosure has not been published, the override shall be considered null and void.

Except as otherwise provided by law, these Bylaws may be amended or repealed and new bylaws adopted by approval of the Board, or by a supermajority (⅔) vote of the membership at a properly announced meeting.

## 13. Votes called by voting member petitions

If a voting members is called by a voting member petiton, the vote(s) shall be conducted by the team/committee responsible maintaining for the Code of Ethics. The vote shall be scheduled with at least two weeks notice, must include a voting period of at least 48 hours, and must conclude within a month of the date the vote was called.

Each vote shall be an anonymous vote by voting members, with a quorum of 1/3 of voting members. Unless otherwise specified, the vote shall pass with a simple majority. If quorom is not reached for a given vote, the vote is considered to fail.

Multiple such votes may be held simultaneously, in which case their results shall take effect at the same time.
