🔖 Feature description

We want to redesign TFB's backend architecture to use Kubernetes.

🎤 Context

Pterodactyl and running everything in Docker is not very scaleable/redundant/automation applicable etc.

We need Kubernetes so we get to a higher industry standard with amazing possibilities and features.

✌️ Possible Implementation

List of things we need to do before we can migrate:

  • Figure out a storage solution for backend
  • Setup CI/CD to integrate with Artifactory and Github
  • 🚀 Feature: Build Docker images for servers and services #230
  • Evaluate POC on a test environment
  • Create documentation for our new infrastructure
  • Setup Grafana for everything
  • Integrate Backstage with our new infrastructure
  • Evaluate POC of monorepo vs multi-repo

After migration?

  • Evaluate POC of high availability and networking
