When in curation mode and reviewing submissions after approving an annotation for a submission, the reviewed/accepted/rejected/deleted status are not (always) saved.

It is possible to save annotation status changes for an in progress submission, but when the last remaining annotation is approved- it is not actually saved despite the screen returning a status page for the submission that suggests the annotations are approved.
