civicrm/event/manage/registrationconfig?... opens the Sessions tab instead, which has the path civicrm/event/manage/sessions?...

The underlying mechanism for the switching between tabs for the event configuration is pretty messy, and our implementation might be not fully compliant - it was enough work as it is.

Can you reproduce this reliably, also in other systems?

I've been noticing it several times, but I'm not sure this was in different environments.
