CI matrix discussion: (in support of #822)
Which variations do we need?
For PR:

• ubuntu versions: currently = 18.04, 20.04 -> 18.04, 20.04, 22.04
• compilers: currently = gcc, clang -> gcc, clang
• geant: currently = 10.5 -> 10.6 (or newer, see PR Patch to compile with Geant4 10.6 #803 )
• hdf5: currently = 1.10.4 -> default ubuntu
• moab: currently = 5.3.0 -> 5.4.1

For merged PRs:

• ubuntu versions: currently = 18.04, 20.04 -> 18.04, 20.04, 22.04
• compilers: currently = gcc, clang -> gcc, clang
• geant: currently = 10.5 -> 10.6 (or newer, see PR Patch to compile with Geant4 10.6 #803 )
• hdf5: currently = 1.10.4 -> default ubuntu
• moab: currently = 5.3.0 -> 5.4.1, master (allowed to fail)

Strategy for #822:

• back off to MOAB 5.3.0 to see if it works
• if so - merge and move on to next steps

Next steps:

• streamline workflow using multi-stage docker build
