I am getting error like github_token not found

Hmm. It looks strange. 🤔
The error means the environment variable GITHUB_TOKEN isn't set or empty.

tfcmt/pkg/notifier/github/client.go

Lines 78 to 83 in af0cef9

	if token == "" {
	token = os.Getenv("GITHUB_TOKEN")
	if token == "" {
	return &Client{}, errors.New("github token is missing")
	}
	}

BTW, export GITHUB_TOKEN=${{ secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN }} is unnecessary because GITHUB_TOKEN is set by env.

env:
  GITHUB_TOKEN: ${{ github.token }}
