It would be extremely helpful to have some additional documentation. What are the dependencies and requirements? What about an extended install manual? Maybe even a script to help this along.

I second @FourthEstateOrg on this suggestion. The instructions for installing this software is a bit limited. There seems to be a few steps missing.

Based on my latest experiences the following is needed:
Ubuntu 18.04
redis-server, mondodb-server and client, elasticsearch. nginx must also be installed as a webserver.
