I'm not sure if I'm getting it, but according to my knowledge the article list disappears after buying an article in the user page and you just see the "bought articles" list. If you want to buy another article you have to either wait or hit the "buy article" button again and then the desired article button.
If the article list wouldn't disappear, you have your "buy this article again" option by default because you're able to just hit the desired article button again. Would be cool!

Yes, what @tanki-kit is saying. We often have the use-case where a single person is multiple articles (of same type mostly, but also of different types).
