Hello @vroyer ,

as specified in your answer of issue #314 , you were waiting for Cassandra 4.x in order to develop a new version of Elassandra based on ES 7.x.

Now that Cassandra 4.x is finally out, when do you plan to release an Elassandra's new version?

The future of this great project depends on this 💪🏿

Thank you very much and best regards,

Paolo

Looks like datastax acquired strapdata. Is this project still going to be maintained ?

At ipfs-search.com we're very interested in experimenting with Elassandra, it would allow us to connect multiple clusters, run by multiple organisations in multiple continents to yield (trustful) truly distributed indexing. However, we are a FOSS project and, as such, cannot use Elasticsearch anymore.

In time, and pending developer capacity, we are very interested in an Elassandra for OpenSearch. Within a timeframe of about 1 year, we are interested in working with others towards this and we do think it's feasible to acquire funding for it.
