According to Wireshark Pulsar uses api.themoviedb.org for it's queries and it seems like TheMovieDB changed their api :( This query returns an empty list. When removing "&with_genres=" from the query, the result is as expected. I asked the api-people from tmdb if they can solve this problem, fingers crossed |
@MrDeadLock Awesome find, did the same! |
I got a reply from TMDB: Reply by Travis Bell on Jan, 01 2016 at 10:29PM All we need is just a little patience :) |
thanks for updating us |

Did you hear anything from TMDB already @MrDeadLock? |
Nope :( Here's the TMDB thread: https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/568504de92514132db018f2e?page=1 |
It seems like it's working again :) |
Cheers!!! Thank you! 2016-01-05 17:06 GMT+01:00 MrDeadLock [email protected]:

Excelent work! Thanks! |
Cheers to MrDeadlock for solving the mystery |
Nice! Thanks |
Good job!! |
Hey guys, Did you parse the most popular list? Moreover, when i go to the url http://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?api_key=apikey&language=en&page=1&primary_release_date.lte=2015-12-31&sort_by=popularity.desc&with_genres= il now returns: |
The similar problem occurs on season list of TV Shows. I can't show the seasons neither the episodes. |
@Painguleouf this API require a key to search. The value of parameter 'api_key' needs to be a valid one. You can generate on the TMDB site. |
@morcegon this means that pulsar should provide a configuration option perhaps for the user to enter his/her api_key? With all due respect, is the pulsar author actively supporting this addon? Just asking since it's been about half a year since the last commit (AFAIK). |
It seems Quasar has solved this problem. Quasar is a fork of Pulsar |
@gotoalberto third issue has been resolved in pulsar already |
why are people still using pulsar when it's basically abandoned and the fork quasar is being updated every single day? |
most popular plugin in movie section not working no thumbnail no links empty ,only way is to search the name of the movie
