Strange mix of translated and non-translated CP items?

I wonder why I have a mixture of localized (locale="de") and non-localized items in the CP. It lokks like all strings from the php language files in the vendor directory are used, but none of the de.json file there.

config/app.php:

'locale' => 'de',

and config/statamic/sites.php:

    'sites' => [

        'de' => [
            'name' => config('app.name') . ': DEUTSCH',
            'locale' => 'de_DE',
            'url' => '/',
        ],

        'en' => [
            'name' => config('app.name') . ': ENGLISH',
            'locale' => 'en_US',
            'url' => '/en/',
        ],

state the correct locales.

But this is what the CP looks like, headlines and entries in the nav are in English, other texts (those from the mentioned .php lang files) are in German, see widget.

Oops, it looks like https://github.com/ryanmitchell/statamic-translation-manager is the culprit. After removing it all works fine.
