What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Restarted service
2. Ran in debug mode
3. Checked configuration
4. Verified syslog server is working on proper port

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-Running in debug mode when new events arrive I don't see anything on the
screen indicating that. Nothing is being sent to syslog.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
-4.5.1

Please provide any additional information below.
-I installed the service, then ran it in debug mode evtsys.exe -d -a -h
192.168.198.105 -p 4254
-Program says it's running fine.
-I generate events and it does nothing.

What events are you creating? Debug only shows information if an event was
ignored, but that is no longer the case in the new version so debug is not very
useful anymore. I can probably change that to output more verbose info to the
console.

Also, you do not need to specify any arguments when running in debug mode, it
will use the information in the registry. Just run evtsys.exe -d
