I can currently work with ssb-validate2 (JS) so this issue is not blocking me, but it seems like node-bindgen easily supports Electron, see issue: infinyon/node-bindgen#167

We could follow roughly the same CI scripts I use for ssb-keys-neon to build for Electron, e.g. https://github.com/staltz/ssb-keys-neon/blob/master/.github/workflows/main.yml#L91
