Hey there! I'm Daniele also known as @geaaru. In my life, I gift a lot of my time in the Opensource Software world and I'm very happy to continue on this adventure. I worked a lot of years for @Sabayon Linux and as Proxy Maintainer @gentoo of some ebuilds.
In the last few years, I begin to work with the wonderful @funtoo Organization and its Devs and I'm the creator/founder of the new Macaroni OS Linux distro based on Funtoo.

I love to work with open source and to think that what I do is used by a lot of people and could help to share with the world how many good things could be done with code shared with the community.

Between all my projects I could just divide them into these big areas:

Mottainai Organization

Where I'm the active developer of these projects:

• MottainaiCI: A golang CD/CI from scratch with LXD and docker integration
• Simplestreams Server: A golang tool to create and manage the Simplestreams protocol used by Canonical to share LXD images over HTTP
• LXD Compose: my lovely tool to manage and configure LXD containers and services
• LXD Compose Galaxy: The ready to use lxd-compose specs to setup services over LXD containers
• Mottainai Luet Repository: A thin luet repository with Mottainai tools and more used bashing knifes.
• Mottainai Task/Pipeline Specs: A catalog of task/pipeline to use with Mottainai for different workflow

Macaroni OS world

• Anise Portage Converter: A tool to automatize the automatic upgrade of the Macaroni packages specs used to delivery new packages based on Funtoo kits portage tree
• Pkgs-checker: Another tool to help integration with Gentoo/Funtoo portage and different packages features
• Luet: the PMS of Macaroni Linux
• Macaroni Funtoo Specs: The packages specs of Macaroni packages
• macaronictl: The Macaroni System Management CLI
• Macaroni Commons specs: The luet specs commons to all Macaroni releases.
• Macaroni Tasks: The story about how Macaroni is maintained (ISOs, LXD images, packages).
• Whip: A really easy tool to handle post install hooks and/or system setup.
• Whip Catalog: The catalog of the specs for whip.

Other projects

• Database Release Manager: a bash script based tool to help on organize database stuff for Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc. My time is been limited in the last period to improve this tool but it's always in my ❤️
• Node Ebuilder: A tool to generate ebuilds from Nodejs specs.
• TarFormers: A tool/library used as replacement of the docker/archive library with a lot of features
• Time Master: Following the idea of Taskjuggler is a PM tools to trace a team work and help on supply quotes
• rlm_sql_ocioracle: A production ready driver for FreeRadius to use Oracle PL/SQL procedures and queries over OCILib.

All of this is been in my extra time and finding a way to do this in my daily time could improve a lot of things.
