Multiple Database connections

In the projects that im currently participating, we have multiple DB connections, and we would like to get the SQL Commenter to work with all of the connections instead of the default one.

Is it possible to do this?

I dont really understand how the extra connections are managed, I could see that extra connections are only available until they are called in the application.
