Content Patcher Animations - Tool Animation’s Dead…

Hi there,
I’ve been trying to figure out what changed in the 1.2.0 CPA update (and subsequent CP and SMAPI updates to accommodate for said CPA change) that happened on December 25th of 2021. It seems that for mods that had tool animations, post this update they no longer work…the tools themselves show up but not the animations. Weirdly, other CPA mods that animate objects without existing vanilla animations (like animated fish and other CPA mods) still work to this day. The community has been unable to figure out why tool animations no longer work and I can’t make sense of the code changes that happened with your 1.2.0 rewrite. I realize that you no longer maintain this mod and the issue is rather old, but, no tool animation mods have been made since due to this change and I think it’s a real loss to the modding community as we had a couple great ones and I’m sure folks would like to make more! CPA is a great mod and makes more sense to mod in than DGA or SpaceCore imo for this stuff. For reference, these two tool mods below are the most popular and it’s Crowley’s in particular I’d like to get working. Is there some change in the content file I can make to get things working again? Please please please any help appreciated.
