A crash issue with the AdvancedCarvingManager component

I need to apply a suction effect to the model, which involves drawing the model closer and then eliminating the topological parts that were drawn in. However, using the AdvancedCarvingManager component tends to cause crashes. I would like to ask if anyone has any good solutions for this？
As the video shows, as soon as I turned on AdvancedCarvingManager, the model became unstable and sometimes crashed。

Hello @yangwxb, it will be difficult to help you only with a video. It might be useful to the the scene file along with that.

I have some questions to start with :

• What is the underlaying mechanical model of the valve ?
• What is the collision model you are using for the valve ?
• Can you also tell us what is the version of SOFA and InfinyToolkit you are using ?

In the meantime I'll ping @epernod, he is the one who coded this component and thus is the most capable of helping you.

1.The mechanical models I use are rigid body mechanical model and elastic mechanical model.
2.The collision model I use are TriangleCollisionModel and PointCollisionModel.
3.The version of SOFA and InfinyToolkit both are v23.06.

Could you copy past your scene here. I suspect one of the component you are using is not supporting topological changes.

You are using AttachProjectiveConstraint ?
normally it should support topological changes. Did you solve your simulation problem? Otherwise Could you share a benchmark scene to test on our side?
