Error with DefaultCollisionGroupManager in SOFA v22.12 for create New

Hi all,

I am new to SOFA. I want to use SOFAGym, so I installed SOFA v22.12 in Ubuntu 22.04.
After successully installing SOFA v22.12 with binaries, I run runSofa and one GUI window showed.

Then I click File -> New, the window changed to:

Everything looks good so far. However, when I clicked the area in the red circle, the process crashed.

Here is the error log showed in the terminal:

This error seems to come from lack of the object 'DefaultCollisionGroupManager'. How could I do to fix this error?

Hi @jiayiliu-pku

Thanks for reporting, you are making us realize that the UI -> New option is breaking.
We actually usually do not use it much since SOFA is not a modeler as is. We will work on it.

To experience SOFA, I would recommend to run UI -> Open and here open any available example in SOFA.
Have you followed the SOFA introduction course? It's a good start

Why not using v23.06?

Thank you for your quick reply. I want to use SOFAGym and the instruction said it supported SOFA v22.12 >.<.
It may not bother me, since I could run some python script.
