Get the mesh data of visual model

HI:
I am doing something that mapping the visual model to some other software. So I need to extract the visual model data. The code is here.

def onAnimateEndEvent(self, event):
        root = self.getContext()
        for child in root.children:
            if child.name.value=='Liver1':
                child_visu=child.children[0]
                pos=child_visu.getObject("VisualModel").findData("position").array()
                edges=child_visu.getObject("VisualModel").findData("edges").array()
                quads=child_visu.getObject("VisualModel").findData("quads").array()

However, I was just able to get the position data, edges and quads are empty array which is wired.
Please tell me what's the problem if someone has similar experience. Thank you very much.

Check if triangles array is also empty
