Deflecting a cylinder using SofaPython3

Hello,

I hope you are doing well. I'm currently working on a project, but have encountered a hurdle. I am at a stage where I need to deform a cylinder as it moves through a spiral tunnel, and by the end of the movement, the cylinder should take on the shape of the tunnel. Can you offer any guidance or suggestions on how to proceed ?

I would take a look at the examples provided within the BeamAdapter plugin (directly available in the binary stable SOFA version v22.12).
It would be nice to have more details on your exact applications, and the mechanical / numerical choices you would like to make.
