How to add an XYZ Axis to a mode?

Hi~
I have a question about adding an Axis to my model. I would like to add it to my robot tip but I didn't find any properties or functions. I only found OglLineAxis and it seems like a scene frame and it can't be added to a part.
Also, I want to know is there any methods to coloring my my model because I want to divide my robot into three colors.

Sorry I am not sure to get your first question. Do you want to draw the XYZ axis? If so, you can go in the widget "Viewer" and see all shortcuts. Among them, to draw the XYZ axis, you can:

1. click in the view
2. press the A key of your key board

You can define a color for an entire mesh for not for parts of it AFAK (@fredroy maybe?).
