Pressurized Volume

Hi! :)

I would like to simulate a pressurized volume such as an artery that can be clipped / constricted.
I stumbled across the SurfacePressureForceField, but I can't seem to get it to work nicely and there is no example on how to use it.

cavity_node = root_node.addChild("cavity")
# solver
# mesh loader
cavity_node.addObject("MeshTopology", src=mesh_loader.getLinkPath())
cavity_node.addObject("MechanicalObject")
cavity_node.addObject("MeshSpringForceField", triangleStiffness=1e5, triangleDamping=10)
cavity_node.addObject("SurfacePressureForceField", pressure=0.01)

Initial State	Pressure = 0.01	Pressure = -0.01

Do you have any suggestions on what I might do to get the behavior I aim at? :D

Do you think SurfacePressureForceField is the right component to model an artery that can be constricted?
E.g. by a clipper / loop.

do you mean to clip the blood vessel using pliers or similar? there would several strategies there:

• pressure forcefield
• pressure constraint
• simulating the pliers and the blood vessel collision (unilateral interaction contraint)
• bilateral constraint / mechanicalmatrixmapper

to give the best guidance, I need a bit more info.
