Questions about sofa framework and MATLAB joint simulation

Hi, everyone, I am a student from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
I want to use a rigid gripper to grasp the soft cylinder, and there is a pressure sensor on the gripper (assuming the pressure sensor is accurate). In addition, the cylinder may expand over time (causing the sensor to collect more pressure).

My problem is: Simulation for a period of time, when the sensor exceeds a certain threshold, the gripper will be released. Can the above simulation be realized by sofa framework and MATLAB? Can matlab collect pressure data for my later analysis?
