Previously if snaplet found a table with a name starting with a number, snaplet CLI would crash, and app.snaplet.dev’s UI show an error and not allow you to continue. This releases fixes this issue.
When snaplet captures snaphots of your database, it first tries understand the structure your database (e.g. which schemas and tables do you have). If errors happened at this step (for example, because of a permissions issue), we were previously not surfacing these issues to you in our UI at app.snaplet.dev. As of this release, you’ll now be able to see any issues happening at this stage in the UI at app.snaplet.dev when we try capture a snapshot for your database.
If you’ve been using with our subsetting feature, you might’ve encountered an issue where tables that ended up having 0 entries after subsetting was applied were still being copied over. This release fixes this issue so that these tables will now be excluded from snapshots.
