Delux.adjust_brightness/1 only takes effect when changing the current entry.

Then,

delux/lib/delux.ex

Line 466 in a6c10fb

time_left = Backend.run(indicator_state, compiled, start_time - current_time)
runs with the changed brightness.

This limitation is possibly what is meant by

delux/lib/delux.ex

Line 165 in a6c10fb

NOTE: This is not fully supported yet!
