issue reported by user on http://besharpproductions.com/bsp/category/webdesign/

I haven't looked into the cause yet, however based on the user it's a bug.

Unable to replicate issue. It looks like the user is pulling in the single file for categories. Would like to request more information from the user.

HI, I am the owner of the site in question - would love to provide whatever information you need... Or, if you want to email me personally, I can create a login for the site so you can look.

I have not done any tweaking of the site and/or settings from normal options in wordpress. I have built and used many site templates, but have never had this issue before.

My current settings for "reading" blogs is as follows:
Front page is static
2 Blogs to show in summary form when category is viewed
syndication is set to 5 posts
Article in feed should show summary, which is working properly.

In the footer widget area, I have chosen to use the category view for blogs, so people can choose to look at a specific category as opposed to a certain month or year. When you click on the category, it will indeed bring up the category and show to full posts, but it will not give option to view older posts in that category, or for you to click into the specific post. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you need further information.

One other thing when viewing the two blogs that post to the page when you click on the category... since you can't click into the specific post, you can make a comment either.
