To use these configuration settings, clone this repository directly into your .emacs.d directory.
To add customizations that are specific to a machine, add a file called
local.el to your .emacs.d directory with the customizations for that
machine. This file is included in .gitignore. No error will be thrown if this
file doesn't exist.
