Home Page - Hero Image Slider #1

Currently the homepage hero image (main image at the top of the page) slide is static and as a result can only facilitates one image.

I would like to add two slides to bring the total count to three. The new slides would be:

A slide that describes SlashRoots and links to the "About Us" page
A slide that describes our community and links google groups page.

We may need to integrate a simple Javascript library (or otherwise) to allow this image to change. Open to other thoughts on implementing it.
