NEWS (29 March 2017) !!!
NEW REV B. CIRCUIT DESIGN IS READY FOR FAB!! Will be expedited for April 30th planned release!
- Improve the MIDI interface to include IN/OUT/THRU options!
- Brighter LCD Backlight!
- Dive Bomb Button (2nd Trick Shot)!
- Custom Rugged Metal Stompbox Design.. pics soon!
What is Control Freek? An electric guitar effects pedal controller.
Similar in function to Boss(tm) ES-8, BUT the Control Freek uses two pieces: a breakout box and a stomp box to allow the electric guitar effects pedals to be mounted on a shelf or rack drawer AT ARMS REACH - WITHOUT BENDING OVER TO TURN KNOBS and still providing foots witch controls.
Includes:
- PURE analog - no digital sampling - preserves your sound - Handles over-driven signals up to ~3Vp-p!!
- Main Input (from guitar)
- Main Output (to amp)
- SEVEN Pedal Loops - Connect up to 7 guitar effect pedals and control on/off and change the order!! Daisy chain more "Breakout" boxes for infinite pedal control!! (Why do I call it Control Freek?)
- FOUR Auxiliary Outputs (for more guitar amps, mixer or guitar tuner pedal)
- SIX Foot switch Outputs - ISOLATED RELAYS to control external audio effects such as amp built-in effects, rack mounted devices, or guitar effect pedals with foot switch inputs
- MIDI In/Out - Control external MIDI devices or can be controlled by other MIDI devices
- Storage for over 100 custom pedal loop configurations (total TBD) ** Select which effects are included and change the order! ** Each includes custom foot switch config ** Each includes custom MIDI messages
- Loop config select foot switches and "Trick Shot" and "Dive Bomb" foot switches for customizing control (only "Trick Shot" included on prototype pictures)
- Configure via Bluetooth and Android Open Source Application (this .git). iPhone support is planned!! Developed using Qt. (Developed and Tested on Linux too!)
Planned release Spring 2017!!
