Intense does not change the graph

Hi there,
I really like the heat map visual, also did some customization and all worked.
For the "Intense" configuration, I could not see any difference when I connect the visual with my table which has an intense column and several different values. I thought the intense does also change the colors darker or lighter depending on my values, but whatever data I use it shows no differences?
Can you help to regular the intense of colors through intense data from my table?
