Possible improvement

good job! This visul should be in the power bi marketplace!!

Anyway, let me suggest you some important improvement:

• background image should be dynamic: it should be a Field, not a fixed property of the Format section, to allow to change it on the fly with a slicer, for example
• there should be an option to specify the background image fit/not fit to preserve aspect ratio: option "normal" (preserve the aspect ratio), option fit (strech the image)
• now heatmap colors go from blue to red: it should be nice to add the possibility to change these colors (again as fields) according to slicer values)
